America's Marines

I posted in the previous months on the efforts of the Marine Corps to film a new ad featuring their Silent Drill Platoon in various locations around the country. San Francisco refused to allow them to film on California Street and came up with a bunch of idiotic excuses for their dumb decision. They later filmed part of the commercial in Times Square.

The comercial is now complete and it's spectacular. I almost went out and signed up myself (though I'm pretty sure they don't take old out-of-shape guys based on this ad). Watch it below and give thanks as I have for the men and women who have answered their country's call: Semper Fi.
