First Michigan Exit Polls

The first round of exit polls are out in Michigan and here's what it looks like:
Romney 35, McCain 29, Huckabee 15, Ron Paul 10, Giuliani 4.
I promoted a vote for Romney in Michigan even though I don't support him for president because I believe it's important to knock McCain out as soon as possible. If McCain can't win in an open primary like Michigan, he'll have just about zero chance in a state where only Republicans can vote in the primary. Republicans over all don't care much for him.

If McCain loses by several points in Michigan, my hope is that his New Hampshire bounce will be over, his numbers in South Carolina will tank, and Fred Thompson will be the beneficiary.
