Take a look at this (posted at 9:03 pm Thursday night):
That red box is a tornado warning issued for parts of southwest Los Angeles County, including Malibu. First the fires, and now a tornado? God must really hate Malibu.
What's funny is watching the local news. It's clear they don't know what to do with a tornado warning. In any other part of the country a warning like that issued in the middle of their viewing area would be the only story they'd be following, and there would be a running graphic on the screen telling you what to do (go to an interior bathroom, etc.). The L.A. news just goes on like it's no big deal and unless some movie stars' homes are swept away, they probably won't even cover it.
