Bob Lutz, the General Motors Vice Chairman who’s driving the charge to build the Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid, was recently quoted in D Magazine calling global warming a “crock of s**t.”I agree. GM is probably betting that there will be a demand for electric cars because of the hysteria surrounding global warming and the possibility that Congress will make it untenable to continue producing nothing but conventionally powered rides. They undoubtedly want to be in the position to profit from the global warming religion even they are not adherents themselves.

How's That Electric Car Coming Along?
GM is investing billions in the development of the Chevy Volt, an electric car. Why are they building it? Apparently, not because of global warming:
