Motorcades Are Dangerous Duty

Motorcycle officers have lost their lives while escorting motorcades for President Bush on two occasions, and another officer has died while escorting the Hillary Clinton campaign:
The Dallas police motorcycle officer who crashed while escorting Hillary Clinton’s motorcade Friday has died, FOX News confirms.

The unidentified officer had been escorting the Democratic presidential candidate to a campaign rally when the accident happened on the Houston Street viaduct. He was taken away in an ambulance to Methodist Hospital before being declared dead, MyFOXDFW.com reported.

“We are just heartsick over this loss of life in the line of duty, and I have asked that my condolences be conveyed to the family,” Clinton told reporters after learning of the death. “I’m going to call them as soon as it’s appropriate and I have the information to do so. I placed a call to the police expressing my sympathy.

“This reminds us once again what our men and women in law enforcement do every single day. And it’s important that we respect and appreciate their service.”
Forgive me if I doubt Clinton's sincerity since during her White House days she treated her Secret Service detail like servants and was known to scream obscenities at them when they didn't jump when she bellowed.
