What's Wrong With This Picture?

There's a news story in the OC Register about a car accident nearby that got my attention. The details of the accident aren't what caught my eye - it was this:

The man suspected of critically injuring two young children and their 34-year-old grandmother Friday night has a history of driving under the influence. ...

The daughter is 19 and the grandkids 3 & 5. That means grandma was 15 when her daughter was born, and the daughter was 14 when her oldest came along.

This story is sad in many, many ways.
