Will Hillary Clinton Abandon the Campaign on Friday?

I wrote a piece the other day which asked the question "Should Hillary Wait Until March 4th to Get Out?" At that point some columnists were saying "no", but with her poll numbers declining even further and a bad to poor debate performance last night, things are changing.

Rush Limbaugh just reported a rumor that he's been hearing from usually reliable sources that the Clinton's internal polling numbers in Texas and Ohio are so bad that Hillary may pull the plug this Friday before the March 4th bloodbath. No confirmation yet from anybody with Clinton, but wouldn't that be something?

If she does quit on Friday or soon after March 4th, I'll repeat a prediction I made back in January. Hillary and Bill will start divorce proceedings within one year from the date she leaves the campaign, maybe sooner given Bill's destruction of the campaign during the South Carolina primary. Theirs is a marriage of political convenience, and once the usefulness of that union no long exists, she'll dump him... fast.
