Attempted Church Arson in Arleta

A San Fernando Valley church was on the receiving end of a Molotov cocktail:

ARLETA (KABC) -- Police are looking for the person who threw a Molotov cocktail at a church sparking a small fire.

It started Wednesday just before 11 p.m. outside the Assembly of God Church in Arleta.

Firefighters contained the blaze to the outside of the building, but there was minor damage inside. They say they found a broken bottle at the front door and it contained flammable liquid.

Nobody was hurt and the damage was mostly superficial, but it still shakes a congregation up pretty bad when something like that happens.
