Greensburg Dodges a Bullet

About a year ago the city of Greensburg, KS was nearly wiped off the map by a giant tornado that left very little standing. The city has since been rebuilding, and is even the subject of an eco-freak Leonardo DiCaprio documentary that will be running on Discovery Channel.

They almost had to rethink their plans based on this news from yesterday tornado outbreak in, as Barack Obama calls them, the "middle states":

The city of Greensburg, Kansas, which was largely destroyed a year ago by a massive twister, reported minor damage when a tornado hopped from the western edge to the eastern edge of town Friday.

"The funnel cloud went directly over the top of Greensburg," said Ray Stegman, Kiowa County emergency preparedness manager.

Was there anything left to damage? Those folks must have a bullseye on them, or else God was warning DiCaprio to get out of town.
