In fact, I have a picture of our luxury ride:
Hey, it's a jet and it's owned by a corporation. (And it's cheap, too.)
I've made 10 trips to Northern California since last August and I've driven every one of them, but with gas at $4 a gallon and airline tickets at only $49 each way, it just didn't make sense to drive on this trip.
We'll have a chance to drive again next weekend, and a few days after that. My daughter has a series of concerts in the next two weekends, and I'm glad to say we've made every one but one of them this year (and it's being repeated on Sunday night), so we're going to do some traveling. We won't be flying next weekend because she will be moving home a few days later and we're going to bring some of her stuff back with us next week. Three days later I'll head back north to move her out of the dorm and bring her home for the summer (we can't wait).
Today we'll be flying north and then picking her up and spending much of the day in San Francisco. She doesn't have a car and can't get off campus much, so I'm not sure whether she'll be glad to see us or just be glad to get away from the school for a few hours. The concert is Sunday night, and we'll be hopping HolyCoast One on Monday afternoon for the trip home.
Blogging will be a little sporadic this weekend, but I'm taking the laptop with me so hopefully I'll be able to bring you some photos of the sights in the Gay Bay.
