Today's Fun Spam Email

Another entry into our spam email series, once again purportedly from the Kauai Community Federal Credit Union:
From: client@kcfcu.org

Dear Customer,

Kauai Community Federal Credit Union temporarily suspended your account. Reason: Billing failure. We require you to complete an account update so we can unlock your account.

To start the update process click here.

Once you have completed the update, we will send you an email notifying that your account is available again. After that you can access your account at any time. The information provided will be treated in confidence and stored in our secure database. If you fail to provide information about your account you'll discover that your account has been automatically deleted from KCFCU database.

They're starting to get a little testy, arent they? So, if I don't respond and give them my confidential information they'll delete my account from the KCFCU database and take all my money. Too late for that, because I've never had an account at KCFCU.

Also, the link in the update process goes here: http://webmail.esa3.com/horde/kcfcu/index.php

It's clearly not likely to be associated with a legitimate financial institution. These dummies just won't give up.
