Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on Friday afternoon will try to bridge the rifts of the primary race at their first joint campaign event.
Clinton, who returned this week to the Senate, is moving into her new role as top surrogate for the presumptive Democratic nominee and trying to convince her throngs of supporters that it’s time to close ranks and put a Democrat back in the White House.
The former rivals kissed and made up Friday morning when they met to take off from Reagan National Airport outside Washington, D.C.
Geez. Now if they can just get their followers to kiss and make up (though I'm not sure I'd want to see any of those people kissing).
