We sent the kids off to Canada yesterday for 9 days with the Mission Viejo Marching Band (you can follow that trip here if you're interested), and we're going to make good use of the first kidless time. we've had in a long time Today we'll be jumping aboard the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner for a trip to San Diego and back. The wife enjoys shopping at Seaport Village which is about a mile from the San Diego train station, so we'll do a little "training", walking and shopping on what should be a beautiful San Diego day.
On Saturday, it's Vegas, baby!
