Palin Outdraws Obama in Florida

Sarah Palin was flying solo in Florida today and drew a crowd that one fire marshall estimated at 60,000. To be fair, another had it at 25,000. The truth is probably somewhere in-between there, but most everyone agrees it set the record for the biggest political rally ever in that state.

Barack Obama was in Florida Saturday, speaking to a crowd of 10,000 in Jacksonville. Another 8,000 couldn't get in, so we'll give him 18,000. Obama spent today speaking to 20,000 in North Carolina, where he probably doesn't have a prayer of winning.

McCain couldn't possibly do that on his own. Despite the slings and arrows directed at Palin, her pick is still proving to be a positive for the campaign.

P.S. If anyone's seen Joe Biden, let us know.
