Speaking of Empty Rhetoric

I've been scanning some of the lefty reaction to last night's speeches and it's pretty predictable, but this line caught my eye from Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo:

Starting tomorrow, the Democrats can and must come back hard on this issue of "reform". McCain/Palin reform is just ... well, there's nothing. It's an overused phrase but it is all rhetoric.

You mean like "change and hope"?
