A couple of stories from the Southern California political crime blotter. First, from Santa Barbara:

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- A masked man waving an American flag and holding a handgun on a highway overpass caused the highway below to be shut down for hours during this morning's commute.

A flag AND a gun? Gotta be a McCain guy.

And from Long Beach:

Five people were found shot to death early Sunday in a makeshift homeless encampment covered by thick brush near the 405 Freeway in Long Beach, police said.

Five fewer Obama voters (unless ACORN got to them first).
