Governor of One State Recession to Advise Obama on Economy

The State of Michigan, which was in recession before recession was cool, is governed by the articulate but inept Jennifer Granholm. You'd think she'd be the last one to ask how to help the economy to recover, but nooooooo:

LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm is one of 17 people appointed to help advise President-elect Barack Obama on the economy during his transition period.

Next I expect to hear that Louis Farrakahn has been named ambassador to Israel.
