We have spent the last 11 hours going through my in-laws home as we begin the process of settling the estate, and we've barely made a scratch. You can accumulate an unbelievable amount of stuff in 50 years (they were married in 1950 so their stuff goes back even further than that). This may be the only blogging I do the rest of the weekend because there's just not time for anything else.
It's been a real trip down memory lane for my wife and her siblings. Lots of stories behind many of the items we looked at today, including photos that went back several generations to the 1800's. Lots more to do tomorrow and Monday, and even then we'll be a long way from finished.
