Welcome to 2009. This is the first official post of the New Year and the 12,431st overall. Thanks to all of you who visited during the hectic political year of 2008. Given all the problems that continue into 2009 and all the "hope and change" we'll experience on January 20th, there shouldn't be a shortage of things to write about this year.
