My dad, who has guest posted at this blog and also has his own, will be going in for a lung biopsy this morning to see what's causing his coughing and shortness of breath. The Cat scan shows some stuff that shouldn't be there, so hopefully this procedure will at least identify what it is and what can be done about it. Your prayers are appreciated, and for those of you who don't pray, feel free to sacrifice to whatever pagan deity floats your boat. We'll take all the help we can get.
I'll probably be spending the better part of the next two days at the hospital with my mom, so posting will be somewhat erratic (of course, my lefty readers already think I'm erratic). Normally I'd set up a bunch of stuff to post automatically while I'm away, but for some reason that Blogger feature stopped working over the weekend. I'm hoping they'll get it fixed, but if not there may be some long stretches in-between new items. We'll see.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience. And thanks to my friends at KHND for letting me miss this week's Tuesday morning radio hit.
