Yesterday several thousand people showed up in Orlando, FL for a Tea Party protest against the massive government spending currently undertaken by the government. Did you see it on TV?
Probably not.
However, 40 ACORN malcontents were bussed to the homes of AIG executives and that made every news report. They were waving signs such as "Capitalism is Organized Crime" and other socialist nonsense.
It's pretty clear that protests against the government will not be covered, but politically correct nonsense will be national news.
