Chrysler Listens to its Customers

The auto companies are currently being bullied to build small, fuel efficient vehicles (like GM's new motorized wheelchair), but Chrysler is sticking with the cars people want to buy:
CHYRSLER/JEEP: Just days after being berated by the White House for producing gas guzzlers, Chrysler is opening the New York International Auto Show with a new SUV.

The company insists the new Jeep Grand Cherokee is a crowd favorite and crucial to its brand.

Chrysler says the 2011 model is 11 percent more fuel efficient and uses a cleaner engine. It gets 20 miles to the gallon.

The Grand Cherokee is the number two seller in the jeep line.

Good for them.
