Presidential Approval Right Where I Thought It Would Be

On January 25th (in the comments) I predicted that Barack Obama's approval rating, which was then 68%, would be down to 55% on April 15th. The 15th was a week ago and I didn't see any numbers for that day, but I do have today's Rasmussen number:

Overall, 54% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance so far. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove.

He's almost back to the 53% that actually voted for him. When he drops below that you know the real trouble is setting in.

UPDATE: I just looked at the Rasmussen trend page. On April 15th his approval rate was 55%. It first dropped that low on April 9th.

Sometimes I amaze myself.
