We're going to take a drive today along the Russian River and all the way to the Pacific. The Sonoma County coastline is beautiful - rocky and wild and should make for some nice photos. My daughter really likes the Bodega Bay area, so we'll swing down there before heading back towards the school.
Task two will be getting some of her stuff packed and in the car. We're going to take a bunch of things home with us tomorrow so the load on Thursday won't be quite as bad. Last year I barely got both of us and all her stuff in the truck when I brought her home for the summer. We were packed to the rafters.
Finally, we have another concert tonight, and this one will be very entertaining. My daughter is a flute player, but was drafted into a clarinet choir to play the contrabass clarinet, a huge thing that looks like a plumbing project gone bad. We've never seen her play anything but a flute and piccolo, so I can't wait.
