New Yorkers May File Class Action Suit Over Scare Force One

When Air Force One flew low over New York City and scared the crud out of lots of New Yorkers I mentioned that the flight probably set some people back 5 years in their recovery from 9/11. I may have been right:
On Tuesday, Obama told reporters, “It was a mistake. It was something we found out about along with all of you. And it will not happen again.”

Caldera quickly apologized for the operation.

“Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision,” Caldera said to CNN. “While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it’s clear that the mission created confusion and disruption.”

But the apology was not enough for some people in the area. Linda Garcia-Rose, a social worker who counsels post-traumatic stress disorder patients in an office three blocks from where the World Trade Center stood, told CNN that she is considering a class-action lawsuit against the government for the unannounced flight.

“I believe the government has done something really wrong,” she said.

This could get very entertaining.
