We took the college girl to downtown San Francisco where the major stores are located, and I took some random shots. Here's Union Square as seen from the 6th floor of Macy's:
They have an old-time streetcar line that runs down Market Street and along the waterfront. They've got these cars that were retired from streetcar lines all over the country.
This is an artsy shot of the spiral escalators in the Westfield Mall.
No San Francisco shot would be complete without cable cars. Here they're lined up at the end of Powell Street waiting to start the run over to the Marina district.
There was a huge line of people waiting to get on the cable cars, and they were entertained by the local street preachers.
