Scenes From the Road

Took a long drive today from Rohnert Park along the Russian River to the Sonoma County Coast. From there we headed down the coast to Bodega Bay and then back inland to the university. It's hot today - over 100 inland but very nice down at the bay. Here are some shots along the way.

First, the Russian River outside of Duncan's Mills.

We stopped by the old town graveyard in Bodega to pick up some fresh cherries at a stand next door.
Any Hitchcock fans out there. You might recognize this church from the classic movie The Birds. It's a Catholic Church in Bodega and the scene where some of the movie was shot.
