Jazz Night

Took the camera to my son's final high school jazz band performance and found some interesting scenes along the way. The concert was held in the beautiful back yard of the band director, with the band set up at one end of the yard: Had to get a shot of the brass section:As the sun was starting down the colors were really nice:I moved in a little further to get the nearly full moon and the palm tree:A little later I went to maximum digital zoom and played with the manual settings a bit and took this shot of the moon over Southern California:


Yep, I took that shot with my camera and sharpened it up a big with my software. Not bad.
