Really? What do the numbers say?

McClatchy-Ipsos survey finds 37% of Americans likely to feel less favorably toward Republicans if they "overwhelmingly oppose" the Supreme Court nominee.

Well, given that 53% of Americans voted against the Republican party last November it sounds to me like we're gaining ground. I don't think it's all that risky.
