He Is More Than Just a Swear Word...

...more than just an "I don't care" word.

The title and first line of this post are lyrics from a gospel song I remember back from the 70's. Maybe Joe Biden should pay attention to those lyrics:
Will Biden apologize for using Christ's name as a curse word?

Can you imagine the uproar that would ensue if the Vice President of the United States used the name of Islam's supreme being as a curse word? They rioted all over the Muslim world when a Danish newspaper cartoonist penned a series of satiric pieces on Mohammed, so making "Allah" a curse word would likely incite far more serious violence.

And does anybody doubt that the editorial pages of The New York Times and other liberal newspapers would instantly demand an apology before further damage is done to America's supposed standing in the world. Joining in that chorus would be the National Council of Churches, Democratic congressional leaders and, of course, CAIR.

So where is the uproar over Vice President Joe Biden's incredible use of "Jesus Christ" as a curse word?

This is not merely a gaffe or "insensitivity." Taking in vain the name of the man billions of Christians for two millenia have accepted as the creator and Savior of the entire world is either a consciously chosen insult or the kind of unthinking idiocy that disqualifies this guy from being one heartbeat away from the presidency.

How many more stupid comments does it take before his handlers in the White House realize it's time for this dunce to retire?

Biden's remark came in an
interview published today by The Wall Street Journal.
It's stuff like this that explain why a significant percentage of voters think that Joe Biden will not be on the ballot against in 2013. Vice President Gaffe has been a constant irritant to Obama.

This man is a total IDIOT!!!! He is not even worthy of holding the office of trash collector in the halls of congress. I take offense to his remarks of one of the world's greatest Christian Leader's. All religions should rebel against those who think they can use the name of their Religious Leader in vain and there be no repercussions!!! This nation (The U.S.A.) was founded on religious convictions, and is not to be taken lightly or made fun of.

I see it differently. I think Biden is like an insurance policy for Barack. Even the homicidal wackos would be afraid, very afraid, if Joe should ascend to the Presidency, and besides that Joe solidifies the rationalization that someone who can read dramatically from the TOTUS is a worthy POTUS, at least compared to Joe that is.

Yes, but there's bound to be some nutcase with the mental capacity of Joe that is probably drooling over the idea of having Joe as "President."
