Quick Update

Getting ready to start another day in Vegas. Supposed to be 105 and windy today, and if possible, even drier than yesterday. I haven't even had a chance to look at any of the pictures I've taken yet, so that will come later.

We spent some of yesterday at the M&Ms store (as always), drank massive amounts of Diet Coke to stave off the moisture-sucking climate, and ate dinner at my wife's favorite little cafe' in Paris Las Vegas.

After dark we headed downtown to check out the Fremont Street Experience, the massive light show that runs for several blocks down (you guessed it) Fremont Street. This year's theme is "Summer of '69", so all the worker were dressed in hippie tie-dye, and all the music was from that era. We saw their production of Don MacLean's "American Pie". Pretty well done, and I'll have some photos later.

Today the girls are going to hit the pool a bit this morning, and then the kids will be off on their own much of the day visiting Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, Dick's Last Resort at Excalibur, and whatever else they want to do. Their parents will probably be hitting the usual shopping spots.

More later.
