• Councilwoman Jan Perry trying to justify the taxpayers picking up the ridiculous cost of security
• Must register at StaplesCenter.com to get tickets - 17,000 in all for Staples and Nokia Center.
• Worldwide pool coverage, but no funeral procession or broadcast on outside sign boards at Staples.
• No one without a ticket will be allowed in the Staples Center area. No tickets will be sold, and they're trying to make it so no tickets can be scalped. Good luck with that.
• As an experiment I tried to register at the Staples Center site and apparently got in just as they opened it to traffic. My registration went through, though I'll be in Vegas on Tuesday so if I happen to win some tickets I may get to test that scalping ban.
