Tom Watson in Playoff for British Open

After regulation play 59-year old Tom Watson is tied with Stewart Cink for the lead in the British Open. A four hole playoff is about to begin.

Regardless of what happens Watson has had an amazing run.

UPDATE: Cink par, Watson bogey on first of four playoff holes.

UPDATE 2: Watson par, Cink par on second hole. Cink still leads by one.

UPDATE 3: Watson melting down on third playoff hole. Hits drive into jungle. Second shot goes 30 feet into more jungle. It's probably over.

UPDATE 4: Cink up by 4 with 1 hole to play. Watson hits drive on 18 into crowd. Has a look of tired resignation on his face. Too bad. They're engraving Cink's name on the Claret Jug.

UPDATE 5: Congratulations to Stewart Cink who played nearly flawlessly in the playoff. Watson completely came apart. The magic ran out.
