Ahh, T minus ten days until human TwitterBerry Sarah Palin stops holding back and starts GETTING REAL 4 REAL. However! This presents an ontological problem of sorts, as everything that is “politically incorrect” is also therefore a “joke about Trig.”
Lew, They hate Sarah Palin because she's a Republican. Read Bumiller's biography of Condi Rice. Every statement of Condi's is paired -- more pointedly is FOLLOWED -- by commentary from somebody who disagrees with her so that with every utterance she can appear to be "lying" about something. Her every accomplishment, youthful figure skating, study of classical piano, mastery of Russian military studies, PhD at age 26 -- they are all played down. Oh! Nothing she did is all that hard! (One wonders what Ms. Bumiller's resume looked like at age 26.)
It's the GOP bigotry.
And "fear." Reference Franken's comments to Sotomayor -- he found trends to regulate the internet "scary." (Dems are "scared" about everything. I think they spend half their lives hiding under the covers.) However, his fears in regard to the internet could be justified in as much as HIS own fellow lefties want to censor everybody who varies from their cherished world view -- that would be -- the rest of us -- those of us who are Republicans.
