Did He Really Get Away With It?

Yesterday some angry commenters were mad at me for prominently mentioning Ted Kennedy's checkered past when it comes to driving over bridges with young women. One person even suggested that since 40 years had passed Kennedy "had gotten away with it".

Well, that depends on how you define that term, because as Editor and Publisher points out, none of the major obituaries left that important story out:
Boston Herald - 10th graf
Boston Globe - 5th graf
New York Times - 14th graf
New York Post - 14th graf
New York Daily News -13th graf
Washington Post - 9th graf
Wall Street Journal - 6th graf
Los Angeles Times - 12th graf
I predict that history will remember Kennedy for Chappaquiddick more than it will remember him for anything else except his brothers.

Mr. Moore,

You should know that moral relativism is all the rage now. There is no such thing as right or wrong. There is no such thing as personal responsibility. There is no such thing as owning up and correcting our mistakes and more importantly pay for them.

A sad, sad America we live in today!!!
