King of Astroturf Throws $5 Million at Liberal Health Care Activists

Despite the protestations from the Democrats, it looks to me that the only big money organizing on the health care issue is coming from the left:

Billionaire George Soros is weighing in on the U.S. healthcare battle, pledging $5 million to a coalition of left-wing groups seeking the so-called “public option” – socialized medicine.

But activists are disappointed that the group Soros quietly contributed to -- Health Care For America Now, the leading coalition of pro-reform groups, unions and providers – hasn’t been nearly as aggressive in pushing Democrats toward the public option.

Soros has made a career in the last 10 years or so of funding crazy left organizations like MoveOn.org. He's the king of astroturf - fake grassroots efforts. This latest thug-for-hire effort will not succeed in getting a "public option". I think that part of the health care plan is deader than an old person under Obamacare.
