Massachusetts state leaders are beginning to coalesce around a request Sen. Edward Kennedy made in his final days to appoint a temporary successor to his Senate seat until a special election can be held early next year.John Kerry wouldn't know the "right thing to do" if it came up and kicked him in the butt.
Democratic Gov. Deval Patrick put his public support behind the plan on Wednesday and Sen. John Kerry called it “the right thing to do.”
Deval Patrick is slobbering over the idea of making this appointment. Remember what happened in Illinois when Gov. "Hot Rod" sold Obama's old seat? Patrick is looking at a big political payday.
