A Suggestion For the Airlines

The European Union on Saturday published a list of nearly 4,000 airlines that it says should reduce their impact on the environment from 2012 or face being banned from European airports.

Pollution from aircraft emissions currently represent three percent of European emissions.

What if 4,000 airlines told the EU to take a bus on their next vacation or business trip? What if they told them the bike they'll be riding on their next trip will offer zero emissions instead of those dirty old airliners?

Airlines should fight fire with fire.
