Uh, Rick. . . I politely beg to differ on your "money well spent" comment.
Looking at the Powerline site, the brown dots chart the actual national unemployment rate, currently about 10 percent.
That solid blue line below it, charting the most optimistic unemployment rate, is the current presidental administration's projection.
The projection seems to be not anything approaching reality. Powerline said as much in their blog.
The money spent on the "stimulus" hasn't lowered the unemployment rate to equal the data on the chart's blue line. Who knows for certain if there has been any impact at all? If there has, this chart doesn't show it. All it shows is what the unemployment rate is, and what the current administration wishes it could be.
