Sting isn't a religious man, but he says President Barack Obama might be a divine answer to the world's problems. If he was sent by God, don't you think he would have solved...something...by now?
"In many ways, he's sent from God," he joked in an interview, "because the world's a mess."
But Sting is serious in his belief that Obama is the best leader to navigate the world's problems. In an interview on Wednesday, the former Police frontman said that he spent some time with Obama and "found him to be very genuine, very present, clearly super-smart, and exactly what we need in the world."
"I can't think of any be better qualified because of his background, his education, particularly in regard to Islam," he said.

Pathetic: they reject the real Messiah in favor of an impostor.
So, will Sting rewrite the Police hit into:
"Every Little Thing HE does is Magic"?
Some "rulers" sent by God are sent to punish a nation. There is a lot of scriptural precedent for that. God always would wait patiently for his people to turn back to Him on their own, and when His patience finally ran out, he would allow his people to reap the whirlwind they sowed. Until and unless God's people, and Hs church, look at themselves and decide to change, we as a nation will suffer under opression. God has to be true to His word. Having said that, I believe that Sting is correct, just not for the same reasons.
Sting would be wise to stick to music.
