Going Rogue

With only an announcement of the release date, Sarah Palin's upcoming book "Going Rogue" is already #1 on Amazon and Barnes and Noble books. You can preorder yours through the box at left.

Politico says this:

A publishing industry source told POLITICO that they "cannot remember a non-fiction book taking off like this in the pre-order market. It became number one only a couple of hours after nothing more than a date announcement. It is truly unprecedented."

As I was looking for the link on Amazon I had a couple of interesting moments. I first searched "Books" for "Sarah Palin". So, with this book at #1 on Amazon, what was the first selection that came up:

Say it like Obama?

In fact, there were a bunch of books on Sarah Palin that followed the Obama book, but none of them were the current #1 selection.

When I searched for "Going Rogue", Palin's book was the 10th selection behind a bunch of Marvel comics.

It's almost as though they're trying not to sell it.
