Those two Northwest Airlines pilots who overshot Minneapolis by 150 miles last week told investigators they were engrossed in their laptops and "lost track of time."Well, I'm guessing they won't need to worry about those work schedules ever again.
The flighty flight crew members said they were checking new work schedules on their portable computers as the A-320 with 144 passengers aboard drifted beyond its destination on autopilot, the National Transportation Safety Board said.
UPDATE: From Andrew Malcolm:
Breaking: Those 2 NW pilots who missed Mpls will be flying coach now. FAA revokes their licenses. latimes.com
