The most transparent administration in history will have a press conference featuring Feinberg and CBS' Mark Knoller says there won't be as much transparency as you might expect (from his Twitter feed):
Hope. Change.Neglected to mention: you won't see or hear pay czar Ken Feinberg's news conference today. THERE"S NO TV OR RADIO COVERAGE PERMITTED.
A lame excuse from the Treasury Dept on why no TV or Radio coverage of pay czar Ken Feinberg's news conf on top corporate pay cuts.
A Treasury spokeswoman says a large volume of documents will be release and Feinbergy needs time to explain it to reporters. Duh.
For those that may not know this, Feinberg was also the guy who was appointed by Bush to administer the billions in dollars that were given to the victims of the 9/11 attacks. He, and pretty much he alone, determined what each life was worth and how much money should be granted to each family.
According to this report he's still acting alone.
