Two Key Things to Remember About Obamacare

Regardless of what bill finally comes up for a floor vote in the Senate, there are two key things to remember when you hear anyone talking about the costs of this bill:
  1. Obamacare itself isn't scheduled to start until 2013, after the next presidential election. That ensures that the full nasty effects won't hurt Obama's re-election chances.
  2. The higher taxes and fees are scheduled to start immediately, which means all the revenue vs cost projections that have been offered are bunk. Collecting taxes three years in advance of the start of the plan is the way they manipulate the numbers to make Obamacare appear to be less expensive than it really is. And it means you'll be paying taxes and fees for three years on benefits you don't have.
Just something to think about.

These are indeed great things to think about -- especially in terms of the midterm elections.

The Dems are living in subliminal mode, I think! in their ADVERTISEMENT of the great defects of their plan. It is SO flawed that it must not be allowed to take effect until after the One has a chance at reelecion --

and yet, and yet ... they want people to PAY for it NOW!

Is that clueless or what?

If Republicans lose in 2010, they have only themselves to blame.
