My wife has pricey tastes sometimes, and when we
visited Mission Community Hospital on October 30th she ran up a pretty steep tab - $13,589. We spent about 6 hours in the ER and another 6 hours or so in a short stay room. They did lots of tests, administered a few pricey drugs, and put her up in the most expensive rooms we've ever rented. The ER fee alone was $4,194 and the observation room $1,178.
Next week we're staying at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas for $35 bucks a night.
All-in-all, I'd rather stay in Vegas.
And no, this huge bill doesn't make me want government health care. Thanks to our private insurance our portion of the bill will be $50.

Good grief! I hope you kept all the bedding and cutlery LOL!
So, who covers the other $13,539?
Didn't Reagan once say corporations don't pay taxes.
Rick, ENJOY Las Vegas, it is the cheapest vacation a person can take at the present time. Cheap rooms, good and reasonable meals,
great inexpensive shows, and lots of crazy people to watch both inside and outside the buildings.
