17 Months

Seventeen months elapsed between the first photo of the City Center project on Las Vegas Blvd and the two pictures below. The angles are a little different, but you can see how things have changed:

As bad as Las Vegas Blvd. is now, I can't image what it will be like when thousands of new hotel rooms and condos come on line in the next few months. It'll be a real mess.

One of the weird things about watching TV in Las Vegas is seeing campaign ads for Harry Reid. His ads promote how he supposedly got the banks to back off putting the whole City Center project into bankruptcy and "saving" 20,000 jobs. If true, they're the only jobs "saved or created" by Democrats since Obama got elected.
