Citizens Making a Housecall

A crowd estimated at 50,000 has gathered on Capitol Hill to protest Obamacare. A couple of photos from the scene:

Looks like fun, wish I could be there.

And do you recognize this speaker? That's John Ratzenberger, otherwise known as Cliff Claven from Cheers. John had a show on cable for quite awhile called Made in America in which he toured the country and visited all kinds of manufacturers of American products. I'm sure he's concerned about what this health care bill will to do our American products.

More photos here.

I was watching the live stream from Fox. I got on as "Cliff" was talking and I wasn't sure it was him. Thanks for confirming that. It is so encouraging to see so many patriots there. And Mark Levin! That was a wonderful surprise!

Kicking off today’s tea party press conference/protest at the Capitol, Missouri Republican Rep. Todd Akin urged the crowd to join him in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance because it “drives the liberals crazy.”

Then he botched it.

So eager to shout out “one nation UNDER GOD,” Akin skipped right over the next word – “indivisible” – before stumbling into “with liberty and justice for all.”

Just don't ask him to name all 10 commandments.

Jon Voight was there as well.
Dare I say "Shut up and go act" or is that just for the Dixie Chicks and The Boss.
