Gay Marriage Losing in Maine

This is kind of surprising, but it looks like traditional marriage may win another one in Maine where a ballot initiative to allow gay marriage is losing by a similar margin to Prop 8 in California. There are still a lot of votes to be counted, but the margins have held pretty steady at 52%-48%. Latest results can be found here.

Mormons and black voters got the blame for the failure of gay marriage in California. Are there a lot (of any) of either in Maine? Maybe most Americans just don't want gay marriage.

UPDATE: Gay marriage loses in Maine.
