Health Care Vote - Probably Tonight

The big story of the day is the debate and health care vote in the House. Right now it's scheduled for 10:30 pm ET, but if Democrats aren't sure they have the votes, that time could be pushed back.

There will be vote on the Stupak Amendment which would ban all abortion funding, and should that pass it may give some moderate Democrats enough cover to vote for the final bill. At this point no Republicans are expected to vote for the final bill, and if it passes, it will pass by the smallest of margins.

I won't be able to follow this all day, but Michelle Malkin is live blogging the day and you can follow her reports here.

Today is make-or-break for the Democrats and Obama. If this thing fails it will be a real body blow to both. If it passes with only Democrat votes and a small majority, the Democrats own this thing and the ads for 2010 will be easy to write.

After that, it's up to the Senate to stop this thing.
