The gatecrashers who got into the White House State Dinner without an invitation not only had the chance to meet Joe Biden and the Indian ambassador, but this guy as well (from Mark Knoller):
How in the world did that happen? The Secret Service is not known for sloppiness on the job.

White House is mad, mad at Secret Service, circulates a photo of Obama and the gatecrashers as USSS's Sullivan publicly apologizes.Obama has to walk carefully here. After all, these are the guys who are supposed to be willing to take a bullet for him. I don't think he wants to risk an unmotivated Secret Service.
I've got the feeling there's more to the story than we know. The USSS just doesn't let people in the WH. I've seen people turned away....
....even well-known people...even cleared visitors without ID. Still, USSS's public apology suggests agency knows it's in big trouble.

I wonder if MO has any concerns that unvetted strangers got a heartbeat away close to her babies' daddy. Has she already forgotten Ft. Hood and the wolf in sheep's clothing. These people can't even keep themselves safe let alone us.
That's not the only reason Obama needs to walk carefully.
Ah hem! He got into the White House the same way she did -- smooth talking, glitz and lots of playing the chic game.
Kind of strikes me as apt! She just did exactly what he did and got very similar results. To her credit, at least she isn't wrecking the United States economy or destroying the nation's prestige.
Did she give anyone a Stimulus package? Did she bow to the India guy?
